SAMBA, Apr 19: Continuing with the J&K Police endeavour to strengthen Police Public relations and to help underprivileged students of backward area, Suram Singh, Additional, SP Samba accompanied by Inspector Ravinder Parihar, SHO P/S Samba and SI Parmodh Singh, Incharge PP Gouran today distributed sports items to the underprivileged students of Government Middle School Battal, Sumb, under Civic Action Programme (CAP), here today.
The items provided to the School included badminton rackets, nets, volleyballs and nets, carrom boards and chess boards.
Suram Singh briefed about the underlined purpose of this activity and advised the students to work hard in their studies as well as also participate in the Sports activities so that they can compete with other students of urban areas.
Sarpanchs, Panchs and other people of the area appreciated this gesture of the Jammu and Kashmir Police Department.
