United States : LARS Hoffmann selected as CEO by Bunker Specialists Endofa [TendersInfo (India)](TendersInfo (India) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Endofa, an independent marine fuel supplier and bunker trader, notify that it has appointed Lars Hoffmann as Chief Executive Officer. Previous to joining Endofa, Hoffmann worked as Chief Executive Officer for Shipping.dk. He as well served on the board of the Danish Shipbrokers Association. Endofa's Kenn Soendergaard said, "We have known Lars for many years and always admired him for his accomplishments in shipping and his work for the Danish shipping industry . "His management skills will be vital as we continue our rapid growth." Endofa finished its first year with a turnover of US$ 235-million between the company's offices in Houston and Dubai, above doubling the organization's first-year turnover projections, Soendergaard says. Hoffmann said, "I am looking forward to joining the esteemed Endofa team . "Although Endofa is a relatively young firm, its culture is strong. The potential and energy is there, however my immediate focus will be dedicated to the staff and the business in general." Soendergaard added, "Lars brings an edge on a management level and allows the partners to dedicate their love and attention to our core business. Plus, he has extensive contacts in the shipping, offshore and oil industries, all areas where Endofa is currently expanding."
