Chelsea midfielder Ramires elbows opponent in the face, gets away with it

Chelsea need to beat last-place Sunderland to keep its title hopes alive, but the Blues will be lucky to play the second half of Saturday’s game with all 11 players after Brazilian midfielder Ramires elbowed Sebastian Larsson in the face. With the game tied at 1-1, just minutes after Ramires was tackled by Larsson while trying to head into an open goal and no foul was called, Ramires retaliated with a vicious elbow.

Referee Mike Dean did not see the incident and Ramires was not punished, but the FA will almost certainly review the incident.
