Call it commitment or sheer grit. Debutant actor Vipinno, who plays coal mine owner Vinod Khanna’s henchman in upcoming film Koyelaanchal, shot a scene, which required him to be bare-bodied in biting winter cold.
Recalls director Asshu Trikha, “We were all buried under sweaters and shawls, but Vipinno was shirtless. Never once did he make his discomfort apparent and completed the shot convincingly.
That reflects his gritty personality.”
The filmmaker feels Vipinno is perfect to play the part of a ruthless killer. “Apart from talent, he also has a broad and muscled physique, which goes well with the character,” he points out. Koyelaanchal, produced by Asshu Trikha, releases May 9.
