Several leaders join BJP

VARANASI: Many leaders from different political parties joined BJP In the presence of state president of Bharatiya Janata Party Laxmikant Bajpai on Friday.
The BJP hosted a function in a park at Vijay Nagar Colony in Maldahiya in afternoon. In the function, Ashok Singh, who had contested last mayoral election on Congress ticket and left his party recently, joined the BJP with his hundreds of supporters.Many other leaders from different political parties joined the BJP.
Bajpai reiterated the claim that BJP is going to bag 61 out of 80 parliamentary seats in UP. He said that the huge turnout of voters in west UP districts is an indicator in this regard. Regarding the allegations of Congress candidate Ajay Rai's links with outlaws he said that the silence of Congress and Samajwadi Party on this issue is shocking. Later, a group of medical practitioners accepted the membership of BJP in the presence of spokesman Nalin Kohli.
