Liverpool striker Luis Suarez has reportedly asked the club fans to stay calm as Brendan Rodgers' squad attempts to bag their first league title in 24 years.

Suarez, who has scored 29 league goals, said that it is normal for the supporters to get excited and discuss the club's chances of bagging their first Premier League title in 24 years.

According to Stuff.co.nz, Suarez said that when he is out shopping or with his family he bump's into fans who mention Liverpool's chances of bagging a title win this year and he tells them to stay calm and not to worry as the club would be trying it's best.

The Uruguayan International said that it is probably best for the players to not get involved in that kind of talk, adding that he personally feels that if he does not watch TV, listen to the radio or read about Liverpool on the internet it is better.

Suarez said that winning the Premier League title would be very special but they cannot think about that yet, the report added. (ANI)
