State Bank of India has invited applications for the post of Probationary Officer. Interested candidates, who have completed their graduation and are between 21 and 30 years of age, can apply to register till April 24.

The vacancies are available for a total of 1, 897 candidates.
Out of the total number, 758 candidates from the general category will be selected. As for the rest, Scheduled Caste (SC) category candidates consist of 235 seats, Scheduled Tribe (ST) category candidates will have 439 seats reserved and 405 seats are reserved for Other Backward Candidates (OBC). The rest 60 seats are provided to Visually Handicapped (VH) and Orthopedically Handicapped (OH) candidates.

  • General: 758 seats

Important instructions not to be missed:

Photograph image:

  • The candidates are required to send a recent passport size coloured photograph.
  • The picture should be coloured yet against white background or a light shade background at least.
  • The candidates should look straight with a relaxed phase.
  • In case the picture is being clicked on a sunny day, the candidates should make sure that the sun is being placed behind them.
  • The candidates should also ensure that in case of flash, no red eye turns up in the image.
  • If the candidates wear glasses, keep in mind that that there are no reflections and the eyes is clearly visible.
  • The candidates should also see that no caps or hats or dark glasses are covering their face. Religious headware is permitted but it should not cover the face.
  • 200*230 pixel dimensions are acceptable. (Preferred)
  • The size of the file should range between 20 KB to 50 KB.

Signature Image:

  • The candidates are required to sign with black ink pen on a plain white paper.
  • If the applicant's signature on the answer script, at the time of the examination, does not match the signature on the Attendance Sheet, the applicant will be disqualified.
  • 140*160 pixel dimensions are acceptable. (Preferred)
  • The size of the file should range between 10 KB to 20 KB.
  • Also, the candidates should make sure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 20 KB.
