Kanan Malhotra to tie the knot on May 1

Kanan Malhotra, who played Daljeet in Jay and Kinnari Mehta’s Rab Se Sohna Isshq, is off the market.
The actor is tying the knot with Delhi-based interior designer, Aakanksha Dhingra. The two got engaged on December 26, 2013. The wedding is on May 1 in Delhi. It’s an arranged marriage and the two were introduced by their families. Kanan confirms, “I like her nature, she is a kind-hearted girl, who understands me very well."

It is to be remembered that the actor was in a serious relationship with his co-actor Ekta Kaul.They were set to tie the knot last year in November, but the two parted ways because of compatibility issues.
Says a friend of the actor, “Ekta had grown too possessive of Kanan and they started having a lot of fights. It was becoming too difficult to handle for the actor and hence he decided to call off the roka.”
