JOHOR BARU: The government will introduce a special fund to help small cow breeding companies expand their businesses to achieve the nation’s target for a balanced number of import and locally bred cows by 2020.
Agriculture and Agro-based Industry Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said that the government used to focus on big companies under its National Key Result Areas (NKRA) and was now encouraging the involvement of small and medium enterprises to rear more cows.
