Crude oil prices settled moved in opposite direction in futures market on Thursday.
Light sweet crude oil (WTI) futures gained 0.54 dollar or 0.52 percent to close at USD 104.30 a barrel at the New York-based commodity exchange NYMEX. Apr-2014 futures witnessed a high of 104.78 dollars and a low of 103.54 dollars after opening at USD 3.84 a barrel. The contract has recorded volume of 191,342.
Brent crude oil futures declined 0.07 dollar or 0.06 percent to close at USD 109.53 a barrel at NYMEX. Apr-2014 futures recorded a high of 110.18 dollars and a low of 109.08 dollars after opening at USD 109.63 a barrel. The contract has recorded volume of 6,094
WTI-Brent spread was stable on 41773.
In refined products, RBOB gasoline futures remained flat at 3.05 a gallon at the NYMEX. Apr-2014 futures recorded a high of 3.07 dollars and a low of 3.03 dollars after opening at USD 3.04 a gallon. The contract has recorded volume of 47,535.
In refined products, RBOB heating oil futures remained flat at 3.01 a gallon at the NYMEX. Apr-2014 futures recorded a high of 3.02 dollars and a low of 3.00 dollars after opening at USD 3.01 a gallon. The contract has recorded volume of 44,722.
