Lakshmi Rai pairs up with Ravichandran

South actress Lakshmi Rai, who was last seen in Sandalwood in Kalpana and Attahasa, is back in the industry after over a year. She will play the lead opposite Crazy Star Ravichandran in V Nagendra Prasad’s next, Shrungararaja.
“I’ve been looking for a good script and this particular one convinced me that it’s the one to pick,” says Lakshmi, who has been busy doing films in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam over the past year.About her character, she says, “It is a beautiful family entertainer and I play a very strong character, with the narrative revolving around me. I’m looking forward to seeing how my Sandalwood fans will react to this film, since the role is different.”
