On the back of the successful stage musical Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Rachael Beck and David Hobson will return to the Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC) Concert Hall to perform a unique blend of classical, musical theatre and popular songs in their show My Baby Just Cares For Me for one night only on Thursday 12 June, 2014.

My Baby Just Cares For Me will explore the romance, fun and charm of musical theatre - featuring songs from Les Miserables, My Fair Lady, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, The Sound of Music - the power and beauty of classical opera, and the emotion of contemporary pop and Celtic music.

Rachael Beck is a popular musical theatre performer, known widely for her role as Belle opposite Hugh Jackman in Beauty and the Beast. As a leading lady in major stage productions of Les Miserables, The Sound of Music and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Beck has enjoyed a stellar career, also starring in television roles in Home and Away, It Takes Two, and Carols by Candlelight.

David Hobson is one of the country's most renowned performers and recording artists, having starred in roles for Opera Australia - most notably the role of Rodolfo in La Boheme - and major stage and international opera companies. He more recently played the lead role in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Hobson is a sought after regular guest on Carols by Candlelight and starred in It Takes Two and Dancing With The Stars.
