The University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES), Dehradun conducts Management Entrance Test (MET) for admissions to its 10 MBA programmes offered in various specialization including Oil & Gas, Power, Energy, Infrastructure, Aviation, Port & Shipping, Logistics & Supply Chain, Business Analytics and International Business.

UPESMET, the online MBA entrance test is scheduled to commence from May 2. The exam will go on for three days and will be conducted in 3 slots every day. Interested and eligible candidates can apply latest by April 30.

Eligibility:

Candidates willing to apply are required to have qualifies Class 10th, Class 12th and should be graduates. Candidates should have attained at least 50 per cent marks in all the aforementioned classes.

How to apply:

Candidates can collect the UPES prospectus either by cash for Rs1, 750 or can collect it online for Rs1, 850 or through a demand draft for Rs1, 850. The demand draft is required to be drawn in favour of 'UPES FEE ACCOUNT' payable at Dehradun.

Paper pattern:

  1. The paper will consist of 160 questions in total comprising of 40 questions from each section: General English (reading comprehension, verbal reasoning, verbal ability),
  2. Quantitative (data interpretation and data sufficiency), General Awareness (general knowledge, current affairs, business scenario) and Analytical & Logical Reasoning.

Important dates:

  • Online Exam: May 2- May 4
  • Exam slots: 9:30am to 12pm, 12:30 pm to 3pm, 3:30 to 6 pm
  • Last date to register: April 30
  • Result declaration: May 7 (tentative)
