Nandamuri Harikrishna hurt over denial of ticket

Mr Harikrishna said here on Wednesday that he expected a ticket for any Assembly constituency in Krishna district, but he was denied the same by the party.

“Some people are spreading false propaganda that I did not seek a ticket from party chief N. Chandrababu Naidu. I sought ticket for Penamalur constituency when Mr Naidu was undertaking padayatra,” he said.

Mr Harikrishna, whose name has cropped up again for Penamaluru, also revealed that he had also asked for Hindupur Lok Sabha ticket during a politburo meeting.

Sources in the party said Mr Naidu is yet to take a decision on giving a ticket to Mr Harikrishna.
