Congress has no sympathy for Telengana: KCR

Rao alleged that Centre had imposed several restrictions on the Telangana state
Hyderabad: TRS chief K. Chandrashekar Rao on Wednesday said that the Congress had carved out the separate Telangana state, but had imposed “restrictions”, that are against the wishes of the four crore Telangana people.
He said this was not the Telangana state for which the Telangana people had fought and hundreds of students had laid down their lives over the last six decades. He urged people to vote for the TRS to achieve a “free and sampoorna Telangana” without any restrictions.
Mr Rao alleged that the Centre had imposed several restrictions on the Telangana state under pressure from Seemandhra leaders. Addressing a mammoth election meeting at Vanaparthy, Mahbubnagar, on Wednesday, Mr Rao said, “Congress has no sympathy for Telangana people. We can secure a free Telangana state only through TRS. It is the only party that belongs to the Telangana region.”
