Mudgal panel has audio tapes of Dhoni and Raman

The sealed report also has audio of all the controversial people
Mumbai : The Justice Mudgal IPL probe committee has audio recordings of all “controversial” people named in the sealed report, confirmed Nilay Dutta, one of the three panel members. Speaking exclusively to this paper, he said, “We are in possession of audio recordings of all “controversial” people and those named in the sealed envelope have given us audio recordings of their statements.”
“The Chennai police were not recorded because they gave written statements. When police officials have given written statements, it was not necessary to have their audio recordings,” he pointed out. “IPS officer G. Sampath Kumar was one among few others whose statements have no audio recordings,” he confirmed.
“I don’t remember the names of others whose audio recordings were not done,” he added.
N. Srinivasan, who has been effectively suspended by the Supreme Court as Board president, IPL chief operations officer Sundar Raman and Team India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s audio recordings are with the Mudgal commission. “A few people did ask the commission that their depositions be not recorded and hence it was left to the panel to grant their wishes,” another source said from Delhi.
“We have not yet received the court order. Once we get the copy of it, will decide the appointment of an amicus curae, whose job will be to deal with us and share the recordings of the people who deposed before us,” Justice Mudgal said from from Delhi.
