Injury report: D-Will, Joe, Shaun all out

The Brooklyn Nets will be without guards Deron Williams, Joe Johnson and Shaun Livingston and forward Mirza Teletovic when they close out the regular season against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday night.

The injury report -- which featured Johnson (sore right calf); Williams (right knee tendinitis); Livingston (sprained right big toe); and Teletovic (personal) -- was released in the team’s media notes and confirmed as accurate by its public relations staff.

Livingston has not played since April 8 in Miami, but is expected to be back for the playoffs.

Teletovic’s wife gave birth to twins on Wednesday, and it was already known he would miss the final two games of the regular season.

Nets coach Jason Kidd told reporters that Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce will also sit, meaning Brooklyn’s starting lineup will include Jorge Gutierrez, Marquis Teague, Marcus Thornton, Andray Blatche and Jason Collins.

Nets coach Jason Kidd and his players have said their No. 1 goal heading into the playoffs is to be healthy.

The Nets (44-37) can clinch the No. 5 seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs with a win.

The only way they can fall to No. 6 is if they lose and the Washington Wizards (43-38) win in Boston.

The Wizards hold the tiebreaker by virtue of their 3-0 regular-season record against the Nets.
