China's Juneyao Airlines mulling service to Fukuoka, Nagoya

OSAKA -- China's Juneyao Airlines is considering providing regular flights to Fukuoka Airport and Chubu Airport near Nagoya, company officials told a press conference here on Wednesday.

The Chinese carrier is looking to launch the service between the summer and fall, offering flights connecting Shanghai and the two Japanese airports. It aims to take advantage of the recovery in Chinese tourism to Japan, which had declined amid Sino-Japanese tensions.
