YEREVAN. – Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian on Wednesday received Angelo Gnaedinger, the Special Representative of the Swiss OSCE Chairmanship for the South Caucasus.

They discussed issues related to OSCE and initiatives of the Swiss chairmanship. Minister Nalbandian and OSCE representative touched upon preparation for the visit of President of the Swiss Confederation, OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Didier Burkhalter to Armenia.

The sides gave appraisal of the high level bilateral dialogue between Armenia and Switzerland within the framework of Swiss chairmanship, as well as dynamics for development of multilateral cooperation.

Minister Nalabandian presented the efforts of Armenia and OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs aimed at finding peaceful settlement of Karabakh conflict. In this context, Angelo Gnaedinger reiterated Swiss chairmanship's support to the Minsk Group efforts.

They discussed regional and international challenges, in particular efforts to solve Ukrainian crisis.
