This National Award is a blessing: Bela Shende

Singer Bela Shende feels blessed to win a National Award for the Ahirani song ‘Khur Khura’ from the film ‘Tuhya Dharma Koncha’. While Dattaprasad Ranade gave the film's music, and Basu Vaidya was its lyricist.
Calling it a dream come true Bela said, “Every artist wants to win a National Award and now that I have won it I absolutely can’t express my feelings. It is like all your hard work has been recognised. I congratulate all the winners including myself for.”
Speaking about Marathi cinema fairing well on box office as well as at the National Awards, Bela said, “Filmmakers are experimenting with new subjects and audiences are appreciating this by watching the films.Music directors too are experimenting a lot while being cautious of not losing the soul of the music. Its all a team effort and It feels really nice to be associated with the Marathi film industry.”
