Antrim's preparations for the forthcoming Ulster SFC have taken a hit with the departures of three key players from the panel.

CJ McGourty, Michael Pollock and Chris Kerr are reported to have quit Liam Bradley's panel.

The trio all hail from Antrim club champions St Gall's, who won a record equalling seventh consecutive county SFC title last September.

Antrim endured a poor recent Allianz League Division 4 campaign, winning just two of their seven games.

The Saffrons face Fermanagh in an Ulster championship quarter-final on 1 June in Brewster Park.

Local media reported that the trio have walked away from the panel due to a breakdown in communications with manager Liam Bradley.

Corner forward McGourty was Antrim's top League scorer with 26 points from his four starts, while Pollock played in all seven League games and Kerr is regarded as the county's number one goalkeeper.
