Fil-Swiss driver Stockinger vows to keep raising the PHL flag after second-place finish

Following his second-place finish in the season-opening Formula Renault 3.5 Series race in Italy, Filipino-Swiss racer Marlon Stockinger vowed to continue raising the Philippine flag in the international stage.

Stockinger, a member of the Lotus team, tweeted out his vow on Tuesday evening, days after placing second in the race.
 
"I'll keep pushing to raise the Filipino flag! Salamat sa lahat ng supporta!" he tweeted out.

He also posted on Twitter a photo of himself with the other winners of the race.

A separate report on GMA News TV's "News to Go" on Wednesday quoted Stockinger as saying his team was happy with the result, but admitted having a hard time due to penalties.
