Two Gandhi medical college students assaulted by pass-outs

BHOPAL: Two students of Gandhi Medical College (GMC) were assaulted by seniors on Monday night. The case was registered at Koh-e-Fiza police station. Police said complainant Vikas Tiwari stated that he and Sumant Singh were in the hostel, when two college pass-outs Arvind and Shyam, who were drunk allegedly beat them up. The dispute was reportedly over the accused wanting to stay in the hostel.
Officials said the case has been registered under Sections 323 (voluntary casing hurt) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the IPC.Both the accused are on the run, police added.
