Bhopal Municipal Corporation notice to Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology over poor sanitation

BHOPAL: Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) has slapped yet another notice on Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT) director for overflowing septic tank and lack of sewage disposal system on the campus.
The civic body said not only are the potholes on MANIT premises filled with sewage water, but its overflow into residential areas of Chuna Bhatti has caused health problems for the residents.
BMC has given three days' time to rectify their sewage disposal system and construct a sewage treatment plant (STP) failing which BMC will take action.
