Four suicides reported in Nagpur
NAGPUR: Sanjay Kubde, 35, is learnt to have ended his life by hanging from the ceiling fan at his residence at Ramna Maroti Nagar after being upset over wife's decision to share her salary with her parents. Police said Kubde's body was spotted hanging by his younger brother on Tuesday morning.
Kubde was not happy with his wife, who works as a nurse at a Hingna-based private hospital.
The reason behind their differences was her salary. Police said Kubde has left a suicide note that says his wife's decision over her salary had forced him to end his life. Nandanvan police have registered a case of accidental death.
In another incident, 40-year-old Jeet Rajput hanged himself at his Tailor's Line residence at Chhaoni on Monday. Rajput, whose wife was at office when he took the drastic decision, was depressed over his fluctuating income as a broker in transport sector. He too left behind a suicide note noting his disappointment at being unable to make his family comfortable. Sadar police have registered a case of accidental death in the matter.
In a separate incident, 59-year-old Gnyaneshwar Chute hanged himself at his Mahatma Gandhi Nagar residence on Monday following a tiff with a neighbour. Chute's son Vivek is learnt to be a cop posted with Khaparkheda police station. Hudkeshwar police have registered a case of accidental death.
