15CDBRAHMOTSAVAM – The presiding deities in Sri Prasanna Visweswara Swamy temple in Kadapa.

Vedic pandit Aluru Ravisankara Sastry performed Mahanyasa purvaka Rudrabhishekam and Sahasranamam to Sri Prasanna Visweswara Swamy and his consort Annapurna Devi in Brahmotsavam in Sri Prasanna Visweswara Swamy temple at Mokshampet here on Tuesday. The Brahmotsavams began with Ankurarpanam last evening and Dhwajarohanam was performed today. Devotees had darshan of the presiding deities placed on Suryaprabha Vahanam. Deeksha Homam, Rudra Homam, Navagraha Homam, Ganapathi Homam and Santhi Homam were performed by Vedic pandit Buddayapalli Narasimhaiah. Large number of devotees thronged the temple and took part in the religious rituals.
