Arjun-Shetty enter World Junior Badminton quarters

Talented Indian duo of MR Arjun and Chirag Shetty entered the boys doubles quarterfinals of the BWF World Junior Badminton Championship at Alor Setar in Malaysia on Tuesday.

NAGPUR: Talented Indian duo of MR Arjun and Chirag Shetty entered the boys doubles quarterfinals of the BWF World Junior Badminton Championship at Alor Setar in Malaysia on Tuesday.
However, other Indians bowed out from the tournament despite trying their best.
Arjun and Shetty won two tough matches in a day to secure their place in the last eight.
The tall Indian duo will now take on Thailand's Puavaranukroh Dechapol-Ketlen Kittinupong in the quarterfinal on Wednesday.
Talar Laa failed to make the boys singles quarterfinal after losing in the fourth round.
INDIAN RESULTS
Boys doubles (Round 2): MR Arjun-Chirag Shetty bt Mathias Bay-Smidt-Mortensen Frederik Soggard (DEN) 21-15, 13-21, 21-17.
Round 3: MR Ajun-Chirag Shetty bt Rodion Alimov-Alexandr Kozyrev (RUS) 21-13, 21-5.
Boys singles (Round 3): Talar Laa bt Cheuk Yiu Lee (HNK) 21-15, 11-21, 23-21; Harsheel Dani lost to Jun Peng Zhao (CHN) 21-17, 12-21, 11-21.
Round 4: Talar Laa lost to Gui Pu Lin (CHN) 9-21, 7-21.
Girls singles (Round 3): G Ruthvika Shivani lost to Natsuki Nidaira (JPN) 20-22, 19-21.
Girls doubles (Round 2): Vaishnavi Iyer-Reshma Karthik lost to Arisa Higashino-Wakana Nagahara (JPN) 12-21, 21-23.
