Vidya Balan goes Melbourne hopping, shows off curves in photoshoot
A lot has been said and written about Vidya Balan's taste in fashion. And after posing for Autralia's top fashion designers - Akira Isogawa and Susan Dimasi - in a recent photoshoot, we think she's trying to silence those opinions once and for all.
A lot has been said and written about Vidya Balan's taste in fashion. And after posing for Autralia's top fashion designers - Akira Isogawa and Susan Dimasi - in a recent photoshoot, we think she's trying to silence those opinions once and for all. The actress found herself in Australia owing to the fact that she's the festival ambassador of the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne 2014.
Isogawa - the man behind Cate Blanchett's gown the night she won an Oscar for Elizabeth - dressed the actress, in loose, knee-length, Australian-Japanese fusion dress. The dress itself didn't do justice to actress' frame somehow bringing her back to the very thing she's been trying to escape: not being able to pull off anything besides a saree.
Speaking of a saree, designer Susan Dimasi seemed to have picked on this little bit of info and used it wisely. She dressed the 'Dirty Picture' actress in a, you guessed it, saree. The saree was created after using some silk ribbon, a rubber net, and some fabric. And we have got to admit, it does paint a pretty picture.
Which look do you prefer on the actress?
