Man jumps in well, dies

VARANASI: A mentally challenged person committed suicide by jumping into a well in Jansa area on Monday.
Mohammed Karim (30), a resident of Bhadohi district, had come to his in-law's place in Jansa. He jumped into a well. When local natives failed to bring him out the police and fire brigade were informed. But, he lost his life before the arrival of police. The body was sent for postmortem examination.
Decomposed body found: The decomposed body of 45-year-old Dilip Kumar was found in his room on Monday. He was living in a rented room in Nakkhi Ghat area. The local residents informed the police after smelling stench coming from the room. The police broke opened the doors and found the body lying there. It was sent for autopsy.
