Mumbai: Siddharth Anand’s 'Bang Bang' starring Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif was announced for October 2, 2014. However, in an interesting development, Vishal Bhardwaj’s 'Haider' will also be releasing on the same day. It doesn’t end there. Omung Kumar’s 'Mary Kom', starring Priyanka Chopra will also compete with them. So with three big films lined up together, it would be an interesting clash to witness which films the audience picks on that day.
Going by the releases, Hrithik Roshan, in the past few years, has always enjoyed a solo release.

While it is unlikely that Siddharth Anand will move his release date, it will be interesting to see if Omung Kumar or Vishal, anyone of them decides to find an alternate date. Though it is never healthy for big films to release on the same day, in Gandhi Jayanti 2014, lets see who makes the wise move.
