BLACKBERRY LAUNCHES NEW BBM FEATURES TO RING IN GROWTH(Indian Business Insight Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Smartphone maker BlackBerry of Canada is beefing up alternate revenue channels to compensate for its losing streak in the mobile devices market in India. It has launched several new features in it BlackBerry Messenger (BBM). The new BBM application will allow free voice calling between two subscribers. Enterprise users can encrypt and record conversations for a fee. The new feature also allows users to make their phones discoverable for up to four hours. |
