Esha Deol joins set of Care of Footpath 2

Esha Deol, the daughter of Bollywood dream girl Hema Malini and veteran actor Dharmendra is Sandalwood bound. The actress will make her Kannada debut with the film Care of Footpath 2, a film directed by young filmmaker Kishan Srikanth. Being made in Kannada and Hindi, the film also stars Balika Vadhu fame Avika Gor, Life of Pi fame Shravanti, director Aneez Bazmi, Jackie Shroff, J Karthik and Kishan himself, among others.
The film, we hear, deals with juvenile delinquency and Esha will play the role of a lawyer.She joins the set of Care of Footpath today for a schedule at the Kanteerava Studio. This is Esha's first film since she got married. The role, meanwhile, was initially meant for her mother Hema, but with the upcoming elections, she found it difficult to allot dates and suggested Esha instead.
Sources tell us that the film is nearly done and that this schedule could wrap it up.
