GURGAON: A caretaker of a Gurgaon farmhouse owned by a Delhi resident was shot dead and his body buried inside the compound.
The guard, identified as a 27-year-old from Bengal, Ganesh, lived in the farmhouse on Gurgaon-Sohna Road with his wife, police said. The crime was discovered on Sunday afternoon when the owner of the farmhouse came visiting but didn't find Ganesh or his wife.
Near the quarters where they lived, he was hit by a strong stench.
He called the police, who dug up the ground and found Ganesh's decomposed body. His wife, Kanti, was arrested after questioning. Police said she couldn't explain why she hadn't filed a missing complaint. "We are questioning the victim's wife. An FIR has been lodged against unidentified persons," said inspector Pradeep Kumar, SHO, Bhondsi police station.
