When Student of the Year and Hasee Toh Phasee star Sidharth Malhotra entered the media event to celebrate his second cover with Men's Health magazine at the The Orchid Five-star Ecotel Hotel on Saturday afternoon, the air was charged with instant electricity.

A superstar in the making had made an entry, but his casual demeanor left many confused.

As Sidharth unveiled three covers - the first one being his Men's Health cover from seven years ago - it was apparent that this was an actor whose biggest asset was his freshness that would eventually break the mould.

"I was just an ordinary guy seven years ago trying to find my feet when I made it to the cover of Men's Health in February 2007," he said. He sportingly drew comparisons between the two covers. " My abs are better now, aren't they?" he asked.

"The thing is, in 2007, I continued being a parantha- eating Delhi boy. But now, I'm zero per cent paranthas , if I have to be an actor, I need to look good." Also unveiled was India's first " selfie cover" by Sidharth and photographer Prabhat Shetty.

"The selfie concept was not planned, I must admit," said Shetty. " Sid was just playing around with expressions when this shot happened." Men's Health Editorial Director Jamal Shaikh defended their decision to repeat Sidharth on the cover. " Men's Health India has never repeated anyone on its cover ever - not a Bollywood star, not a sportsperson, not a model! But Sid is an exception.

Not only is he an MH discovery, he also exemplifies what the MH guy is about - fit, good looking, confident, with focus, perseverance, and now, super successful too!" While posing for pictures, Sidharth dodged questions on the girl he's currently dating. He also talked about how he often takes " funny selfies" to share with his friends. At one point, he playfully pinched his waist and asked, " Girls like love, why don't they like love handles?"
