Secret to work-life balance
There are times when I am overwhelmingly busy and my loved ones understand this. If they didn’t, life would be pretty tough. It’s important that we let people know how important they are to us. It’s fine if we are not able to spend enough time with them. But we must remember that during all good and bad times, family and friends are always with us.
Key to staying fit
I am not that fit.
I confess I don’t exercise at all and I need to thank my parents for the genes they have given me. I do believe eating healthy is really important.
Definition of happiness
Happiness to me is a day-to-day, moment-to-moment phenomenon. As I grow older, I think it’s important to spend your life doing things that mean something to you. That way, being happy becomes the most natural thing in the world. For me, sitting quietly at home, watching the sea, sipping tea with my family by my side is happiness. Working hard on a project I love is also happiness.

Risk-taker or micro-planner?
I am both. Life is about learning and how will you learn unless you take risks? On the other hand, how can you achieve anything great unless you plan properly?
Philosophy in life
I strongly believe that we are responsible for everything that happens to us. This thought is empowering and gives great comfort.
My spiritual diet
I'm a follower of Vipassana, a technique of meditation taught by the Buddha. It helped me understand the true purpose of life.
Handling failure and success
Both success and failure don’t last forever. All my failures and successes have been very public, so I have learnt to deal with them. The key is to keep doing new and crazy things.
Success mantra
‘I can do anything and everything.’
