Madurai Kamaraj University announces Junior Research Fellow 2014

Applications are invited from qualified candidates for Junior Research Fellow 2014 post to work on a research project sponsored by Board of Research in Nuclear Sciences (BRNS), Mumbai at School of Chemistry, Madurai Kamaraj University.
Title of the project: Bioinspired Models for Unusual Tris-Histidine Motif in Non-Heme Iron Enzymes
Qualification: M.Sc Chemistry with CSIR-NET, Rs. 16,000 plus HRA (as per MKU norms)
Duration of the Project: 3 years (From third year onwards the position will be promoted as Senior Research Fellow, SRF

Current second year M.Sc students with above mentioned qualification are also encouraged to apply
The applicants will be shortlisted by entrance examination and followed by an interview on the same day for shortlisted candidates only
The selected candidate will be eligible to register PhD in Madurai Kamaraj University
Also, JRF may need to work at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), Mumbai if required
