Latest Man Utd transfer news: Louis Van Gaal to replace Moyes?

Transfer season might have already begun for one of the biggest disappointments of this football season – David Moyes in charge of Manchester United.

No top four finish, an exit at the quarterfinal stage of the Champions League at the hands of Bayern Munich has left the once most-dominant team in Europe looking a shadow of itself.

For all the talk of big signings, come the summer, and Moyes says there will be some, it is his job that might be draw the most transfer ‘action’.

And the speculation has already begun.

The Daily Mail reports, quoting Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf, that Dutchman Louis Van Gaal is being lined up as a potential replacement for Moyes.

According to the reports in the Dutch newspaper an Old Trafford delegation met with Van Gaal earlier this week.

United have denied any such meeting took place, but Van Gaal is increasingly emerging as a figure to prominently be considered when United’s transfer action gets underway.
