GUJRANWALA- A man cut the throats of his wife and two teenage daughters who were admitted to DHQ Hospital in critical condition here on Saturday. The incident occurred at Awan Chowk, where Abdul Hameed, an addict, doubted the character of his wife. To quench his anger, he cut the throats of his wife and two daughters while they were asleep. The three victims - Nazia and her daughters - Amna and Khadija were rushed to DHQ Hospital in critical condition. Police took immediate action and arrested the culprit. Abdul Hameed told the police that he doubted the character of his wife and daughters, and attempted to kill them for the disgrace they brought to the family.
Meanwhile, a cruel man killed his wife by cutting her throat over a domestic dispute. According to details, Rafiq, a resident of Salamatpura wanted to get married his son according to his will but his wife Razia was not agree due to which a tussle was going on between the couple. Meanwhile, they again exchanged hot words over the issue at which enraged Rafiq cut his wife’s throat with a sharp edge weapon, killing Razia on the spot. The police have registered a case. The deceased was mother of four children.
Girl molested in mosque:  Another seven-year-old girl was raped by a man in mosque here on Saturday. According to police, seven-year-old girl (identity), daughter of Wajid Ali, a resident of Madina Colony Baghbanpura, went to a shop to buy some sweets. Meanwhile, a man identified as Afzal took the girl to a nearby mosque where he raped her. After the assault, the accused thrashed the girl and succeeded in fleeing the scene. The victim is being treated in hospital while police have registered a case.
