Star Jalsha Parivar Awards are back

The biggest TV award show of Bengali television, the Star Jalsha Parivar Awards are just around the corner.
From the favourite mum-in-law to the favourite son, from the favourite wife to the favourite couple, the Bengali audience will make their votes count and faves known. also, there are performances and acts lined up, by the sought after characters of the channel.So, here's a lowdown on the nominations and the performances, all geared up to keep you glued to your TV screens this weekend.
The nominations for the categories are

PRIYO BOR (Favourite Husband): A. Satyaki(Bodhuboron) B. Archi(Ishti Kutum) C. Sourav(Bodhu Kon Alo Laglo Chokhe) D. Amartya(Jol Nupur) E. Nishith(Tomay Amay Mile)
PRIYO PORIBAAR: A. Bodhuboron Poribaar B. Ishti Kutum Poribaar C. Bojhena Shey Bojhena Poribaar D. Jol Nupur Poribaar E. Tomay Amay Mile Poribaar

There will also be the folliwng performances amongst many others. Pakhi and Aranya will perform on, Ek baat honto tak and Tum hi ho, a mashup of the soundtracks from Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara and Aashiqui 2 while Jhilik and Raj will dance to Itni shiddat se from Om Shanti Om merged with Tujhe dekha to ye from DDLJ. Tushu and Kushan will proclaim their love to the iconic dialogue Hum ek baar jeete hai from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai merged with Ki kore toke bolbo from Rangbaaz. Ushoshi and Nishith will dance to Teri aankhon ki namkeen from Jab Tak Hai Jaan merged with Zehnaseeb of Hasee to Phasee.
