'Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti general secretary will resurface soon'

GUWAHATI: Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti (KMSS) president Akhil Gogoi said here on Friday that the organization's general secretary, Kamal Kumar Medhi, who has been avoiding arrest in connection with the self-immolation of Pranab Boro, will 'appear' before police or court soon.
Gogoi, however, refused to term Medhi's appearance as 'surrender', stating that KMSS had requested him to attend its executive meeting which begins from Saturday.
The Supreme Court recently dismissed 'as withdrawn', the anticipatory bail plea of Medhi.
