Amir Johnson gave 70 fans tickets to Wednesday’s Raptors game against the Philadelphia 76ers. He followed that up by taking them to Medieval Times Thursday. Such chivalry earns one a knighthood — as it should.

From the Toronto Star:

“It’s just a token of appreciation for my fans because we have the greatest fans in the world,” Johnson said before the show began, a black velvet cape trimmed with gold threads and sparkles draped around his hulking frame. “The fans are what makes our team.”

This is far from the first time Johnson has treated fans to a surprise. He passed out free copies of Drake’s new album to fans at Yonge and Dundas (think Times Square in Canada), and he’s thrown his “I Roll With Amir” party four consecutive years.

But none of those parties ended with Amir Johnson being knighted, making this the best one.
