DENVER (AP) — Colorado may set new limits on edible marijuana and concentrated forms of the drug.

Colorado lawmakers are scheduled to begin work Thursday on two bills that would tweak state marijuana laws.

The first would set new limits on concentrated forms of marijuana such as hash oil. Currently Colorado adults are allowed to possess up to an ounce of marijuana, no matter if it is leafy flowers or concentrated oils.

The other bill would set new limits on edible forms of marijuana. It would broaden a ban on certain types of edibles to include products that mimic other foods or candies. Some marijuana activists fear the bill could ban any type of edible pot.
