The first will be a Bengali film titled Jodi Emon Hoto (What if it had happened), which will be helmed by Rupali Guha, daughter of acclaimed director Basu Chatterjee. Reportedly, the actress loved the script and showed her interest in working on the project.
The film reportedly revolves around the relationship and equation between a man and a woman. If all goes well, chances are that the actress might co-produce the film as well. From my end, I have confirmed the film already.” Sen’s spokesperson too confirmed the same and added that there are chances that Sen will take up the rights of the film to remake it in Hindi.
On the Bollywood front, the actress is in talks with ad man-turned-director Prahlad Kakkar for his debut film, Happy Anniversary. When contacted, Kakkar confirmed that he has approached Sen for a pivotal role in the film. “We have discussed the script, spoken about the role and other details. However, the final copy of the script is still not ready, so it’s a little pre-mature to say anything. Let’s see how things work out. But, we have approached Sushmita and she has shown interest,” he stated.
Sen mentioned that she is interested in the project and is waiting for the final draft of the script, before she makes any official confirmation.
