Jeweller shot at by unknown assailants

Gorakhpur: A jeweler was shot at by two persons on a motorcycle when he was on returning to his house after closing his shop on Wednesday night. The assailants open fire on Brijesh Verma when he offered resistance. Two bullets hit his chest. The assailants could not snatch the bag and escaped empty-handed.
Brijesh is a residence in Sonar Toli. He runs a shop in Hata market.
The residents of the area informed Brijesh's family about the incident and rushed him to a private nursing home. He was referred to medical college after first aid.
