AICTE Scholarships for GATE GPAT Qualified Candidates 2014

Grant of PG scholarship to University Department and Constituent Colleges of Universities presently not approved by AICTE under Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) Scheme for the Academic Year 2014-2015
All University Department and Constituent Colleges of Universities presently not approved by AICTE abd conducting PG Course leading to Masters in Engineering, Technology, Pharmacy and Architecture and willing to avail the disbursement to PG Scholarship to eligible Gate/GPAT qualified students admitted for the Academic Year 2013-2014 are requested to apply for the same.
Guide Lines for Processing Application:
All the University Departments and Constituent Colleges of Universities shall download appropriate form available on AICTE web site at web-site: www.aicte-india.org>students>scholarships> Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT)>DBT for University Departments and Constituent Colleges for procedures and formats
Hard copy of the filled application form must reach Advisor (RIFD), 4th Floor, East Tower, NBCC Place, Bhisham Pitamaha Marg. Pragati Vihar, Lodhi Road, New Delhi-110003 on or before 25th April, 2014
Applications duly filled and complete in nature will be scrutinized at AICTE
An Expert Visit (EVC) will be conducted to all eligible University Departments / Constituent Colleges of University to verify the requirement for the conduct of PG courses as per the AICTE norms and standards.
The scope of this EVC shall be limited to the purpose of disbursement of PG scholarship.
The University Departments/ Constituent Colleges of Universities are required to submit AFFI DAV IT in the format prescribed.
The University Departments/ Constituent Colleges of Universities are required to collect undertaking in a prescribed format from all the eligible GATE/GPAT qualified students admitted in PG courses.
Applications which are through will be given unique user id and password by AICTE.
The same will be communicated to the applicant University Department or Constituent College on the e-mail provided in the application form.
The University department/ Constituent College will upload relevant information on AICTE web portal using the user id and password provided to them.
Documents to be collected by EVC:
Affidavit as per AF FIDAVIT 1
Undertaking from all the student as per Undertaking 1
Copy of the GATE/GPAT score card
Bank Passbook details
Caste Certificate
Validity Certificate
Physically Handicap Certificate (as applicable)
Important Dates:
Last Date for submission of application form: 25th April, 2014
Note:
Each Department of a university (e.g. Computer science, Chemical Electronics etc.) is required to apply separately.
The Constituent College is required to apply for all departments on a single application.
