Netas deny knowing Azam

BANGALORE: At different election-related events on Wednesday, Baig, George and Arshad said they don’t know who Azam is.
In a press release, George said he has directed police commissioner Raghavendra H Auradkar to take “suitable action against Azam” . “We were not aware of his presence and people’s representatives should make sure they maintain distance from anti-social elements,” he said.
Baig brushed aside the allegations. “These are baseless rumours. How can a six-time MLA like me accompany a rowdysheeter in public? I was standing near a school in KG Halli and boarded the vehicle when it came there,” he maintained.
