BJP paints the web saffron with ads on Internet [DNA : Daily News & Analysis (India)]

(DNA : Daily News & Analysis (India) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) The confident Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), going full swing over NaMo raga, is reaching out fervently online and strengthening its support on the web which in turn is reaching every nook and corner of the world. Already tuned to the social media, the party has now gone 'global' with its advertisement spree over a number of renowned websites across the world.

The party seems to have opted for search engine Google's AdSense which is affecting its advertisements across the world and reaching out to internet-savvy generation. Some of the most visited websites including those of the gaming as well as social networking ones are upping the ante for one of the hot favourites in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.

With Lok Sabha polls already started in other parts of country, the BJP is cashing in on big time. Interestingly, there is not enough competition for the party here as well. Not many political parties have jumped on the bandwagon to acquire maximum vote advantage through web.

Though claiming it to be a high potential in the polls, Congress on the other hand hasn't looked strong on the fibre optics medium. The party has thronged social media but for flimsy reasons. Apart from Congress bigwigs Rahul, Sonia Gandhi and Manmohan jokes and caricatures, the party is almost invisible on this platform to woo youth.

In addition to this, BJP is facing the only possible tough competition against newbie Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) which is leaving no stone unturned to substantiate its stand over various issues. The AAP is also using the social networks to the fullest and is advertising widely.

Some of the important websites where the BJP advertisements are visible include Chess.com, Zapak.com, Facebook and Twitter among others. These and several other websites are visited by millions of people across the globe, including Indians residing overseas Credit:Vishal Srivastav (c) 2014 @ 2014 DILIGENT MEDIA CORPORATION LTD.
