Chief secy for resumption of chopper service to Arunachal district

ITANAGAR: Arunachal Pradesh chief secretary Ramesh Negi has strongly advocated for resuming chopper service to Vijaynagar under Changlang district of the state. During his visit to Vijaynagar on Monday, Negi asked the Miao additional deputy commissioner (ADC) to discuss the matter with Changlang deputy commissioner and take steps for early resumption of the helicopter service.He also asked the ADC to start construction work for the civil helipad at the remote circle headquarters. Negi visited the primary health centre (PHC), which provides health care services to about 4,000 people of the area, and suggested that a medical officer should be posted, a source said here on Tuesday.
