KEAM 2014: Biology exam preponed to April 23

The entrance examinations for Kerala Engineering Agriculture Medical (KEAM), conducted by Commissioner for Entrance Exams (CCE), will take place for various subjects in the month of April. The Biology paper has been rescheduled due to Lok Sabha election polling, which is to be conducted on the same day in Mumbai.

Therefore, to avoid the clash, the Biology exam which was previously scheduled for April 24 will now be held on April 23. According to an official notification, The Medical Entrance Examination Paper-II Biology which is scheduled to be conducted on April 24, 2014 in the morning session is re-scheduled to April 23, 2014 from 2.30 p.m. to 5.00 p.m. This is due to declaration of Lok Sabha Elections to be held on April 24, 2014 in Mumbai. There will be NO change in the examination schedule fixed for the other examinations??.

The revised schedule for the entrance exam is:

• April 21- Paper I: Physics and Chemistry (10 am to 12:30 pm)
• April 22- Paper II: Mathematics (10 am to 12:30 pm)
• April 23: Paper I: Chemistry and Physics (10 am to 12:30 pm)
• April 23: Paper II: Biology (2:30 pm to 5 pm)

The exam will consist of objective-type multiple choice questions. Each paper will carry 120 questions to be answered in a duration of two-and-a-half hours. Negative marking is applicable.
