Alliance with MQM beneficial for Sindh: Zardari
People of Sindh will gain when PPP will work alongside MQM, he said.
NAWABSHAH (Dunya News) – Former president Asif Ali Zardari said on Sunday that his party strengthened parliament after empowering it. He said that his party will form an alliance with Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) in the best interest of Sindh, Dunya News reported.
Zardari met party workers in Nawabshah and discussed a possible alliance with MQM in detail among other matters. Addressing party officers, he said people of Sindh will gain direct benefit when his party will work alongside MQM.
Talking about Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), he said that this was one of the successful projects of PPP led government.
He said that deserving women should be given more financial assistance under the BISP scheme. He directed party workers to complete developmental projects in Sindh on priority basis. He said that the coming federal government will also be of PPP.
